The role reports to the Chief Information Security Officer and working closely with the IT operations teams, the security engineer will carry out tasks to ensure the IT environments are managed in a security and safe manner.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
Technical degree from a reputable university in information technology or information security
Several years of experience in a comparable role with medium to large solution projects
High affinity for secure software delivery
Familiar with technologies and methods such as secure development lifecycle, threat modelling, CI tooling, secure design principles and web security
Hands-on technologist with DevOps and IT architecture skills
Deep technical understanding of networking, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, authentication/authorization and modern security technologies (SIEM, EDR, UEBA, AI/ML etc.)
Experience in the financial or trading industry
Great communication skills and outgoing personality comfortable in interdisciplinary teams
Fluent English
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Detect and assess security events and incidents across the enterprise
Ensure security in software development projects by drawing up threat models, creating security concepts, applying secure development principles and other methods
Plan, configure and implement network threat detection and response systems
Coordinate with the CISO, the Head of Development and the Head of Operations to review & triage suspicious events
Collect, aggregate, analyse and triage information from multiple logs/events
Develop orchestration and automation between security tools
Understand the global threat landscape through working with threat intelligence resources to maintain awareness
Assist with containment of threats as well as remediation tasks during or after an incident
Provide assistance to software engineers and architects in the area of security.
Track latest security innovations and keep abreast of latest cyber security technologies

In your role as Python / Front Arena developer you will be given the opportunity to apply and deepen your knowledge of financial instruments and to work with software development of financial applications.
You will work with the system Front Arena, which is one of main trading systems for financial instruments and risk measurement of the products.
Front Arena is extensive and the system handles such derivatives on equities, commodities and Fixed Income instruments.
The development team is responsible for adapting and developing the system for the Bank’s activities and to this end Python programming language is largely used.
A large part of the service thus consists of programming in Python for maintaining and developing these applications.
Duties will also include management of the system, which means support for users and monitoring of the operating environment.
Front Arena is crucial when it comes to reporting information to authorities in Sweden and the EU. New regulations that EMIR and MiFID requires that quickly provide large amounts of data on financial transactions as the Bank conducts.
Knowledge of Front Arena is not essential and good Python Developers will be considered
