The IT Application Support analyst works in partnership with Development to deploy and support a suite of applications. These include trade capture, risk, order routing, portfolio management, and market connectivity solutions.

The candidate will be required to provide 1st line support to business users. The candidate needs to have good communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate needs to be able to perform varied tasks to support applications, middleware systems, databases and servers to ensure application stability for the user community. Act as the focal point for managing user inquiries with business applications

Overall purpose of the role:
The Head of Global Markets IT UK is responsible of the Global Market IT scope in London.
Breakdown of the role:
90% of the activity based around Commodities IT
10% remaining on other activities in London represents the interface between London business and Head Office IT to escalate requests, needs or issues to Head Office IT and cascade Global Market IT information from Head Office.
The successful candidate will participate on the IT strategy within the Commodities business.
