Our financial client in Zurich is seeking a Snr Security Engineer to join their team in a permanent role.
The role reports to the Chief Information Security Officer and working closely with the IT operations teams, the security engineer will carry out tasks to ensure the IT environments are managed in a security and safe manner.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
Technical degree from a reputable university in information technology or information security
Several years of experience in a comparable role with medium to large solution projects
High affinity for secure software delivery
Familiar with technologies and methods such as secure development lifecycle, threat modelling, CI tooling, secure design principles and web security
Hands-on technologist with DevOps and IT architecture skills
Deep technical understanding of networking, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, authentication/authorization and modern security technologies (SIEM, EDR, UEBA, AI/ML etc.)
Experience in the financial or trading industry
Great communication skills and outgoing personality comfortable in interdisciplinary teams
Fluent English
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Detect and assess security events and incidents across the enterprise
Ensure security in software development projects by drawing up threat models, creating security concepts, applying secure development principles and other methods
Plan, configure and implement network threat detection and response systems
Coordinate with the CISO, the Head of Development and the Head of Operations to review & triage suspicious events
Collect, aggregate, analyse and triage information from multiple logs/events
Develop orchestration and automation between security tools
Understand the global threat landscape through working with threat intelligence resources to maintain awareness
Assist with containment of threats as well as remediation tasks during or after an incident
Provide assistance to software engineers and architects in the area of security.
Track latest security innovations and keep abreast of latest cyber security technologies
My Financial client in Zurich is looking for a front office Developer to join a small team that builds tools for Traders and other front office users
Tech stack:
C#.NET Back end / Front end Excel VBA moving to Excel Python / SQL Server Database
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
You will move much of the existing functionality to the backend (C#) and collaborate with our web front-end team to ensure a complete solution is delivered.
You will ensure Trading continue to enjoy their current flexibility through our migration to Excel/Python. To do so you will need to work closely with our Trading department, understanding their needs as users and support their migration to your new Python based solution. As Trading is at the heart of our business this is a high-profile multiyear project.

Professional experience in developing backend services, with strong .NET/C# programming skills

Willingness to migrate VBA code to our target technology stack
Professional experience in SQL and simple SQL database management operations

Project Description – Migration of the asset classes Cash Equities and Structured Bonds from the another trading application to Prime Front Arena.
Work tasks – Analysis, requirement process, development of suitable solutions in Prime, integration work and test. The consultant needs to have long experience from developing in Python within Prime Front Arena and experience from working with Equities products.
Technical Competences – At least 4 years experience of Python coding in Prime Front Arena
