Avitrol – AK

Synergistic combination of antibiotic effectively controls the growth of malarial and leucocytozoon parasites.

Each kilogram contains:

  • Pyrimethamine HCl : 10 gms
  • Sodium sulfadimethoxine: 25 gms
  • Vitamin K3:  3,000 mg
  • Vitamin A: 1,500,000 IU

    INDICATIONS:

    • For the control and prevention of Avian Malaria and Leukocytozoonosis
    • Vitamin K strengthens the blood cells attacked by this parasitic disease.
    • Vitamin A helps increase the resistance against disease and aids in optimum production, fertility and hatchability

      PREVENTION

      1tbsp/50kg of feeds 

      1 tsp/20 liters of water
      (2 consecutive day each week for 6 weeks in broilers and up to 32 weeks in layers ) (2 consecutive days each week for 6 weeks in broilers and up to 36 weeks in layers )
      TREATMENT

      2-4 tbsp/50 kg

      		 1-1.5 tbsp/20 liters of water
      (24 consecutive days for the first week, reduce to preventive dose in the next 5 weeks in broilers and 31 weeks in layers ) (24 consecutive days for the first week, reduce to preventive dose in the next 5 weeks in broilers and 31 weeks in layers)

      Dosage and Administration

      Withdrawal Period:  2 days prior to slaughter.

      Precaution

      Use with TMPS is not recommended, adverse effect may occur
