The Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) recognized 30 scholars who graduated this year during the 18th Graduates’ Forum, held last June 25 at the Metrobank Plaza in Makati City. This year’s graduates are recipients of the MBFI-Youth for Excellence and Service (YES), MBFI-Boysen, and Fluor-MBFI scholarship programs. Six graduated with Latin honors and were conferred with Metrobank Medals and Certificates of Academic Excellence.
In line with its thrust on providing quality education for all, GT Foundation, Inc. (GTFI) partnered with Dualtech Training Center Foundation to provide technical-vocational education (TVET) scholarships to twenty-five (25) men from disaster-stricken communities in Bohol and Palo, Leyte. A total of PhP 1,375,000 was turned over to Dualtech to cover the first phase of the TVET program at the Dualtech Center in Canlubang, Laguna.

The Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) took home three (3) major awards at the 51st Anvil Awards on February 26, 2016 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City. Organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the most coveted “Company of the Year” award went to MBFI as one of the institutions with the most number of awards that night, taking home seven (7) Gold Anvils, two (2) Silver Anvils, and two (2) other major awards—Hall of Fame and Platinum Anvil.
