Through a PhP 2 million donation of Metrobank and GT Capital Holdings to Jollibee Group Foundation’s FoodAID program, 10,000 families from the cities of Manila, Taguig, Quezon, Caloocan, Pasig and Valenzuela were given food packs.
Metrobank, through its corporate social responsibility arm Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI), donated almost PhP 2.2 million pesos’ worth of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). Comprised of gloves and N95 masks, it will benefit more than 12,000 deployed AFP and PNP personnel tasked to ensure peace and order during the period of enhanced community quarantine.

To support initiatives that will directly aid the fight against COVID-19, the Ty Family-led companies Metrobank and GT Capital Holdings Inc., through the Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) and GT Foundation, Inc. (GTFI) released P8 million to fund purchase of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to benefit healthcare frontliners.
