MADE CARES

The Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) is one with the nation in addressing the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Seeing how the crisis is greatly affecting the local art community, MBFI pledges to support Filipino visual artists through a cash assistance program called MADE CARES (Metrobank Art and Design Excellence – Community Aid and Relief for Emergency Situations).

MADE CARES is part of MBFI’s initiatives in reaching out to its stakeholders during this pandemic. It aims to assist the past awardees of MADE Painting and Sculpture Recognition Programs, including non-awardees who are Filipino painters and sculptors aged 18 years old and above. A cash assistance worth PhP 5,000.00 will each be given to 200 visual artists whose income-generating art projects or livelihood have been cancelled or postponed due to the national crisis.
