Stamford Bridge, London – The Yokohama Rubber Company (YRC) awarded a total of 41 dealers representing the 15 countries all over Asia, Europe and Middle East in a ceremony held at The Chelsea Football Club Stadium, Stamford Bridge London last June 9, 2017. YRC recognizes the sales growth of these dealers for the past three years as well as their dedication to the expansion of the Yokohama Club Network (YCN).

This is the first time that YRC has done this region-wide recognition of dealers. This is part of whole year celebration of Yokohama’s 100th year anniversary. It is also very fortunate that this ceremony could be done at Stamford Bridge while the Chelsea Football Club’s victory in the English League is still very fresh in everyone’s minds.

In the Philippines, YCN stores are called Yokohama Shops. Four Yokohama dealers from the Philippines are among those awarded in the Ceremony. These dealers are JNM Motors, Motech Automotive Education Center, Plerm Dynatek and Shaw Tirehaus.

JNM Motors distributes Yokohama tires in Cagayan Valley and operates four Yokohama Shops in the region.

Motech Automotive is one of the biggest and fastest growing networks of automotive repair shops, operating over 40 service centers in the Philippines, both company-owned and franchised.

Plerm Dynatek operates Yokohama Shops and other tire retail outlets in Bulacan. Their next Yokohama Shop will be serving the Tarlac City market by yearend.

Shaw Tirehaus is part of a group operating Yokohama Shops in the Pasig and Mandaluyong areas. They are also one of first Yokohama dealers in the Philippines.
